How can I reduce my Fats macro and still eat some healthy foods low in carbs but seem high in Fats. I can’t seem to get my macro ratios to work for me while addressing a lower carb diet.

Are you saying you want to reduce your carbs and fat? When you reduce a macro you need to make up for it by increasing the others. If you want to eat both low carb and fat youd have to eat a very high protein diet, which can be expensive and quite frankly is completely unnecessary. Have you tried leaving the default macros MFP gives you and simply counting your calories? Changing around your macros is mostly for satiety, they dont have any impact on weight loss.

I’m not sure I understand the question. You want to eat low carb but reduce your fat? That just leaves high protein. Is that actually what you want? I think there’s someone here that successfully eats a high meat diet. It would make me nervous but I’ve been wrong before.

If you’re just looking for healthier fats, I use olive and avocado oil liberally, I eat avocado, mayo (made with olive oil), and lots of nuts.

Recently upped nuts from “a handful” a day to two handfuls a day on the advice of a dietician.
