This was weight loss over about a years time. I have only recently discovered MFP. I have lost 8 more LBS since being here. It's awesome.

    GREAT JOB. I'm 40 too, and it's harder now than it used to be, so great success!

    I feel your pain -- I think there ought to be a "CA"("Cookies Anonymous") group:

    Although I have to admit (like a true addict) that life without cookies would SUCK.

    Awesome brother. What did you do to get to where you are?

    I was doing portion control but I wasn't counting Calories. Since I started using MFP..... I have found it even easier to stay under my calorie intake for the day. For me, it has really been about not letting my body tell me what to do. :)
