Hi all! I’ve had MFP for a while now, trying out carb-cycling and HITT training ... well that’s the idea! Living in New Zealand and now in my late 30s seems to require more work than usual to keep it all ticking along, would love to hear from anyone trying out the same!

    Hello!

I'm Christine from Illinois. I was feeling the exact same- in my 30s and two years out from having my first kid and it seems SO hard to get the weight off... and I'm a dietitian so I feel like it should be easy! I started carb cycling and HIIT training Monday and so far I love it! I have always gone to weight watchers points to lose weight and it hasn't been working lately, but I already lost 3lbs in five days (mostly water weight but whatever) and look more toned. And better than anything, I don't feel deprived. I like that if I think of a high carb or high protein/fat meal I like I just have to wait for the right day to have it. I also found myself doing a lot of cardio the last several months and feeling drained on it, so 15 minutes 3x per week (how often I'm doing HIIT) feels better. Good luck with your program and if you find any tips, pass 'em along!

    Christine
