There was slack left on an airplane seatbelt when I was in a plane at the beginning of the week. Back in November, it was so tight and I barely avoided having to get an extender. It was an amazing feeling.28

I completed the last day of a 12 week program today! https://www.drworkout.fitness/fat-loss-gym-workout-plan-for-women-12-week-program/
I had to rearrange a couple of the days but I completed every workout. And although Wednesdays on this plan are rest days, I went to the gym on all but 1 Wednesday during this program.
Next week I start a new program! Onward to a better me!18 -
I really wish there was a laugh reaction. Sometimes just liking something isn't enough. @gradchica27 I'm with you on hiding the cookies. They look so yummy I want to have a cookie for lunch6

Today I did flexed arm hangs for the first time ever! I really struggle with upper body strength. No matter what I do I cannot seem to go up weight.
Well, I didn't think i could do them, and i certainly struggled and could only hold it for like 5 seconds, but I did manage to do like 15 of them!
And I ALMOST did a forward grip pull up. I could get my chin to the bar but not above it.
Soooooo close!16 -
I completed the Zombies, Run! 5k training program today! Really slowly jogged a whole 5k! Minus some breaks; 2 potty breaks for the doggo, one to drop her off at home because I though she would pass out from the heat/exertion, and 1 stop because WHO can resist stopping to pet a teeny tiny adorable baby Australian Cattle dog!22

My boss, who I haven't seen since March, noticed my weight loss11

My scale hasn't been moving much at all, but I am losing inches. Two NSVs this week... my mother-in-law asked me how much weight I've lost (not really much of anything, but it must show I've been working!) and my boss asked me about my "energy level" being higher when she saw me walking in the park.10

Having the courage and confidence to wear this shirt to the gym today!

Spent last weekend in Cancun for my buddy’s bachelor party - downing dozens of beers and even more tacos. The NSV is that it was a totally fun and once in a lifetime trip and I didn’t worry about limiting myself or anything. Just focused on enjoying my time there.27

My body fat went from 36.9% a month ago to 33.4% today! My clothes are definitely looser!16

Got a gently used mountain bike today and went for my first ride in years.
Of all the things the neurosurgeon said I'd never do again, lifting weights, running, playing any sports and biking. It was a short ride mostly on the street, just a little mud, none-the-less, last item checked off today.

I did a pull up, well 95% of a pull up. Close enough for me.17

Picked up heavier dumbbells than two big guys next to me. We were doing one arm rows.
Maybe they were taking it easy or something but it did make me smile.
I'm a smallish lightweight woman.

I actually like how a knit sweater looks on me. I, in my entire adult life, have never liked the way a sweater looked on me, as they hugged me in a way that made me look unfortunately lumpy. By chance, i picked up a cardigan from a family members place and it actually looks good on me. It's mine now.14

NSV: trousers I took out of the closet thinking they were good for the season looked baggy and loose! I had to reopen size 18 boxes - a real pleasure to put on new trousers I bought last year and never worn because they were too tight19

Here's my NSV for today...I am looking fabulous honey, I felt like a beautiful princess today ( I would say queen, but...okay, I WILL say I felt like a QUEEN today). I had on some size medium dark yet pastel green gray leggings, a super cute green gray size medium top and my husband and I went walking for hours and hours and he just made me feel like a beautiful queen (even though I was feeling like a beautiful queen all by myself), his compliments and flirting he was CONSTANTLY making about me and my outfit confirmed it.
You older folks out there, remember when Maria, from West Side Story sang "I feel pretty"? That's how I felt today. We walked for at least 4 or more hours straight and I felt so strong and CUTE today (even more so than usual Ya know, when I was stick skinny when I was younger and before I had children...I NEVER really "felt" cute, because I was so skinny and I HATED BEING STICK SKINNY AS MUCH AS I HATED BEING OBESE AND OVERWEIGHT, and honey...skinny was so NOT in back then like it is today. I'm not skinny now...but I'm so nice and slim and trim and a medium and size 8 and I feel like a million bucks--TAX FREE! The leggings are so teeny tiny and the top so smallish looking I got in them both with NO problem at all and wore them well. I LOVE being slim and trim and healthy so much!30 -

Keep at it. I just kept reminding myself that every pound I lost was a pound less i had to lift5 -
I finished a 10k today. I hadn’t trained (last time I ran was two months ago) but I powered through it and according to my Fitbit burned over 1000 calories! But the big NSV is running a 10K on a Sunday morning where I’d normally be hungover sleeping until 13:00.19

Inspired by @Thehardmakesitworthit I set a new PR this morning. It’s a PR simply because I have not run since forced to for the Presidents Physical Fitness test in elementary school nearly five decades ago (jeez that went fast!). Nothing scintillating, just alternated jogging and walking, but 2 miles averaging 12:51.
Bonus! I did my usual walk immediately afterwards and was surprised to find I shaved off over two minutes a mile on my walking pace.
Bit weird to know that I only run a couple minutes faster than I walk. 🤔
Next NSV will be Day 2.....7 -
You look great girl can you send me friend request my phone got lost you where my friend on my app-1
