I’m on a mission to lose 90lbs. Is anyone on a similar journey? I’m giving myself 18 months as I want to reach my goal by the time I’m 30. I’m 5’4” from Scotland.

I want to reach 150 by September 2020 so I can wear an old formal on our Alaska cruise. That would put my ultimate goal weight at about 18 months too.
I’m 36 and from Ohio. 😊1 -
I was 215 lbs and got down to 142.8 lbs (so, less aggressive than you- 72.2 lbs) exactly 2 years. I was extremely aggressive. I was using MyFitnessPal to log every bite of food for about 90% of my meals. Also-- I'm just shy of 6 ft tall. I'm currently working on shifting 16 lbs and I anticipate it taking 3 months, minimum.
Giving yourself such a short window may be unrealistic. Although 2-3 lbs a week will be 'easy' to lose in the beginning, the last ~25 lbs will come off at 1 lb a week, the last ~10 lbs will be about a half pound a week. ANYTHING you achieve by your birthday will be amazing and you'll be healthier and closer to your goals for it.
I suggest setting much shorter term goals, like 2 months. Saying to yourself, "In two months I want to lose 15 lbs" is aggressive but doable, especially early. Based on how that goes (maybe you lose 11 lbs), you can set the goal for the next two months as 12 lbs, etc.8 -
I'm 28, 4'11" from California. Originally I had 80 lbs to lose and after a bunch of ups and downs in the last 3 years I've managed to lose 33lbs. I got serious about losing and keeping the weight off a few months ago. I even bought a food scale and started cooking with more fresh veggies again. I still have 46 lbs to lose to get to 100lbs but I might be ok at 110 with a little bit of muscle.
I'm giving myself til January to lose the rest of the weight.
I think 18 months is reasonable to lose the 90 lbs. We got this!1 -
Feel free to add me I am 33 from West Virginia. I started at 258 and am currently close to 230. Id like to get down to the 130-150 lbs range.1

I am starting out at 230.5 lbs. My goal is to get to 160 lbs....and maintain. The lowest I've achieved in the last 7 years was 183.9 lbs and that left quickly when I injured myself.0

Hello! Please feel free to add me!
Started on my journey last year; joined a fitness boot camp and lost 37 lbs. Then as it happens life has its ups and downs, moved, had surgery and I gained some back. Looking for some motivational/accountability buddies.

It's taken over 15 months to go from 213 to 144 pounds. My focus was primarily tracking, less so on exercise. I'm almost at goal (138) so it's coming off more slowly now. I wasn't really concerned about how long it would take, it took a long time to get heavy, so I knew it wouldn't come off overnight. Keep up the good work, you'll get there.2

I started at around 250 and I'm down to 196 in two and a half months. Goal weight is 150, looking to get there with a relatively strict calorie goal and exercise by the end of October. From America. New York, specifically.2
