iPhone steps not registering?

So my steps pop up on the home screen of MFP but when I go to my food diary there is no “iPhone steps” under exercise?

I go off MFP for calories burned as it seems more accurate. But it’s not been popping up for a couple of days know.

    Interesting because I noticed my apple watch isn't accurately recording my steps or exercise either. It's been about a week. I wonder if the new update is screwing things up? Wasn't there an update about a week ago?

    I’m not to sure I don’t really pay attention to updates but the developers need to fix it as I don’t know what I’ve lost calorie wise throughout the day. It was good as a rough estimate as all the other apps give different higher calories burned for the steps I do which I know isn’t right

    My Apple Watch is not being recorded either. I didn’t see it on the APP list. Is there steps to connecting it to Fitness Pal.
