The Program:
Detox/cleanse kit
Custom nutrition and exercise plan
2 weeks of supplements
12 personal coaching sessions.

I have no idea who pays $539 to do this (livingdeal 83% off http://www.livingdeal.com/view/922) since well, cleanses are temporary weight loss (usually water), nutrition and exercise plans can be created yourself using MFP nutrient goals and supplements are just that, supplemental to your own personal efforts.

Anyone try this program?

Thanks!

One of my best friends did this program...faithfully. I think that is the key. You have to do it exactly as they say. It cost her in the end about $2500 with all the supplements and vitamins she has to buy. As of right now, she has gone from 190lbs to 140lbs in just about six months without exercise. Now that she is at a good weight, she is comfortable and has started to go to the gym and maintain her weight.

I personally would never spend that much money but for her, it worked and she looks great.

The reduced cost of $89 for a $500+ program is what intrigued me. Thanks for your opinion!

You are right, it's exactly what MFP has.. a recipe database. Then you are accountable because you must weigh in weekly- which we do here. The reason they charge so much (I was quoted at 2500 as well) is because they provide "the best multivitamins available". They say that is the key to weight loss is that we need to actually GET all of our nutrients. Hubby said no way. I'm doing it by myself. Without multivitamins- so just IMAGINE lol! Yeah it's a shame they charge so much to basically provide a scale once a week, lend an ear, and give you multivitamins made by the 'best vitamin makers ever'- but some people truly believe they can't do it on their own. Shame.
