I am sooooo excited. This week there are 2 nights of biggest loser! Yeah!!!

I think tonight they are going to get split up, no more couples, it will just be Bob's team vs Jillian's team!

It's getting good!!!!

Yeah the "Biggest Loser" is on tonight (eastern time) at 8pm til 9pm - only 1 hour :grumble: and then tomorrow at 8pm til 9pm too... I guess they broke up the 2hrs into a 1 hr show for 2 days. It looks like it's going to be a good one. In the commercials Bob is crying/breaking down...

the crappy part with tomorrow night is that it is Ash Wednesday so we have church from 6-7. I hope they do what they always do and replay the hightlights from the previous show.

    Wow! What a show!

    1. I really admire green team's Tara. How many challenges has she won. She is such a committed dedicated person to this. I really like her strong sense of conviction in every action, word, thought of hers. What a strong woman. She beats the man in challenges!

    2. I'm not even going to talk about Bob crying. He's supposed to lead and motivate them no matter what. What the hell with the tears?

Most, not all. I didn't like one from the grey, and one from the orange. I ain't saying who b/c it was so obviious

I've never seen anyone like Tara. She's tough, competitive, smart, resourceful, level headed.....just every quality you would want in a contestant. I mean, when that 24 hr bike challenge started, she ran and out stuff they needed like food, water, blankets, pillows. What a leader. And out of 301 miles, she rode the most for the black team at 58 miles! That's awesome.

Black team is going to kick *kitten*. Blue team suggested they all quit. Did they not see that it was not about winning a 3lb advantage or a dumb bike. It was symbolic of not quitting on themselves.

It was good. I mean, after that switcheroo of dif trainers. That 24 hr bike ride thing brought both teams together to finish something they all started. That big group hug at the end with both teams said it all.

I'm rooting for her to win the title. She had the winning/grateful attitude from day one.

I was really dissapointed in Bob. I thought Jillian handled the switch up of teams correctly, a little surprise, some initial dissapointment, but then resolve to move forward.

Bob, on the other hand, cried, complained WHILE training people, and essentially whined. I know they edit the show to make it seem more dramatic, but that's just unacceptable IMHO.

Part of this show is suppose to be the trainers preparing these guys for the things that can (and will) happen in real life. What kind of message does it send if the person they are supposed to be looking up to is saying "This sucks" and "I can't handle it" (not exact quotes, but I remember him saying these things not in so many words)?

Both my wife and my self were talking about it last night and when he started crying, we both said "really? How are these guys supposed to learn how to deal with adversity in every day life when Bob breaks down over something as trivial as this?" I mean, come on, in the grand scheme, nobody died, nobody lost a job, nobody got sick, nobody's house got foreclosed.

I don't know, It just really irked me that he allowed something like this effect his team's attitude this profoundly. I know everyone likes Bob, but if I had to choose, there wouldn't be any choice, I would want the person yelling in my face, kicking my *kitten*, and beating the *kitten* out of me, and I don't want my trainer to EVER cry in front of me. My trainer needs to be my Superhero, not my emotional friend.

I only watched the first Biggest Loser, not the second hour. Bob is such a girly man! I like the guy, but he needs to get a grip. If I were coming over from Jillian's team, I would be concerned about him. "Just shut the **** up, Bob"!

I totally agree! I think he went way over board. Staying back with his past members, while his new team had to go start working out without him? THEN, he comes in and proceeds to talk to the purple team about how "unfair" this is, that "he's never been this upset on the show before..." This was a HUGE change for EVERYONE! He needed to show that he's strong, and he will help his new team; reassure them that he'll be there for them. He totally let his new team down. :grumble:

Jillian definitely handled the situation better.... As much as she scares me, I'd much rather have her as a trainer!! :drinker:

I think it was filmed before she had her baby. I remember her saying she was due end of January.

    SPOILER!!!

Boy, Ron dodged another bullet, I thought he would be gone for sure. :smokin:

I thought for sure Ron would ask to be sent home. He has seen that his son can do it without him so Ithought he would bow out gracefully. I really feel sorry for him sometimes but at the same time it IS a game. I am rooting for Tara (green team) or Kristin (purple team). I don't like Tara's partner, Laura. She is such cry baby.

And I'm sorry but Philipe really needs to lose the head band or at least cut that hair, it makes him look like a girl the way he wears it!

I think the blue team made a huge mistake sending Dane home right now. They need his numbers if they want to win a weigh-in. Ron's 5 lbs just isn't going to do it for them. Ron needs to be there, but, it's all about survival now, and the blue team won't survive if they can't win any weigh-ins. I loved Dane's after pictures though! He looked amazing and he RAN A MARATHON! I can barely still do a 5K!

black team already has all the advantages, now Blue has added another.

Oh well, someone has to go home. I thought it was cordial of the dad and dane discussing dane going home. dane showed you can politely make your point, and the dad didnt back pedal and say no. he said he wants his son there as long as possible

I like this season better than back stabbing last season!

I guess I am hoping Bob isnt ill. he really looks bad this season. Of course we only see BL stuff he could have issues at home or working thru illness. He just seems changed from the Yoga Bob of years past.

I totally agree about Bob crying. He needed to suck it up and be a trainer, not a crybaby. He should've been talking to his former team members and offering them support and advice to help them get through the transition to Jillian. And, he should've been doing the same for his new team members. After all, this is about teaching people and helping them lose weight.

The Blue Team voting off Dane is gonna come back & bite them in the butt! I understand they like and sympathize with Ron, but it's time step up and start playing the game. They voted off their best player. I have a feeling that next week, they're gonna miss his big weight loss numbers! Nobody has been as consistent in pulling big numbers as he has, except Sione, Philipe and Tara. Um, guess what - they're on the other team!!!

Dang, I missed Bob crying!! I am not totally surprised, he is kind of a softy, but I do like him a lot. I may be the only one here who would pick him as a trainer. I like Jillian but I think I would want to slap her-and then tell her to go give birth to 3 kids and then talk to me about pain. It sounds like I have some issues to work out myself.

I can't believe they voted him off either! I thought for sure Ron would be sent home. I know they were probably just being nice to him, but if they want to win the game, they have to start playing it... Dane would have been a big help on weigh in days. Ron, as much as I admire him, and want him to stay, he's really going to weigh them down.

Question though, did anyone see how much weight Dane had lost after he left BL? I know he was at 100lbs (freakin' amazing!) when he left.... I wanted to see how successful he was at home.

I don't think they showed the amount lost after he went home. They showed him behind his old pants and how he looks but I don't think they said how much he has lost. They mainly showed the marathon running thing.

Did Dane run a full marathon? I missed the show and I am trying to find information on the website, keeps locking up on me.
