We looked at many different options but this ad kins diet has really transformed our lives. No more junk food, and we are staying below 20 carbohydrates per day! I’m begging those of you who need something to change in your life to give this a try! I was nearly 400 pounds so this really has changed my mindset on life and we also have a long-term plan in place!

I'm glad you found an eating plan that YOU enjoy.
Low carb isn't for everyone though. But that's okay because ALL weight loss (100%) comes down to taking in fewer calories than you burn. We all need to find our own eating plan (that we enjoy).
You're right, long term success includes a plan to make this a true lifestyle change (a forever change) because weight loss is just the first step.8 -
Please don’t tell me what is right for me. I’m glad it is working for you and your wife, but there are many other ways of losing that also work.11

Congratulations on your success.1

Nobody is telling you what is right for you! I was simply promoting the Atkins Low Carb for anyone who may be struggling, encouraging them to give it a try. Sheesh.

I did Atkins years ago and lost 100lbs really fast until I started gagging on chicken and just couldn’t eat that way anymore. Gained it all back with interest, it was like watching a balloon inflate. I much prefer a slower sustainable approach to my weight loss that I can maintain for life where I learn to incorporate all foods in a healthy, moderate way. Good luck to you.8

That is why we have a plan beyond the end of this. To hear of your success and makes us even more mindful in the end

Congrats on your loss thus far. Don’t be discouraged if the pace slows down, much of what both of you have lost initially is water weight from switching to a lower carb approach.

Thank you, and not worried about a slow as I am only shooting for 2-3 per week. Water weight loss mostly takes place in first week, not starting the 6th.

“Begging” others to give it a try sounds like proselytizing.

I took a quick look at this post - it was very insightful, thank you for sharing! A good reminder to do what works for you, as an individual.3 -
Begging isn’t the best choice of words, should have said Encouraging.1

I appreciate the encouragement! I might try it in the future as a diet similar to it worked for me in the past.
And I never once thought you were begging or telling someone else what they should or shouldn’t do. So don’t sweat that small stuff. Keep it up you guys got this!2 -
Congrats. Keep up the good work, and keep posting your successes! 🙌🙌3
