Does losing inches mean ur shedding fat?

Things that can cause you to lose inches:
- Losing fat
- Losing water
- Recomposition (changing fat for muscle - though this is a slow process)
- Pulling the measuring tape tighter5 -
Are you trying to lose weight? Because as you lose the weight, your going to lose inches also. I believe that's how it works, and it can be a better sign of fat loss then a scale. However, if your not trying to lose weight, you could ask your Dr about it and see if something else is going on.0
