Realizing I have A problem

I'm a 24 year old mother of a toddler. I'm 5'5 at 250 lbs....i never have been this big before. Never thought I would be. I have never been that big in life ever. But now that I'm here and I am this big I feel my body hurt. Idk how explain it. But it's like I have way to much on me. I don't care for what I look like. I am just don't want to have a heart attack b4 my daughter is grown. So here I am. Making the 1st step toward my summer changes. I pray I keep my motivation 👏💖

    Welcome to the community! <3

When I was 230 years back, I felt the same pain.

How wonderful that you'll be able to teach your child healthy eating habits once you get a handle on it.

I understand how you feel, except in a different way. I struggled with an eating disorder to the point it landed me in the hospital. now at this point my weight is spiraling out of control and i need to completely re learn proper eating habits. Its always at one extreme or the other where ive been eating way too much for the past while. If you have any tips on how to re learn eating habits id appreciate it. One big one for me that ive learnt is always plate you food, stick to one plate of food each meal. Aim for mainly proteins as it keeps you fuller longer, plain frozen chicken is a great and healthy source if you choose to eat meat.

Somehow, those pounds creep on, and it will take a while to get them off, too. Hang in there! You have the best possible motivation...to be there for your family and to lead your toddler to grow up with good eating habits.
