Walking plans on hold

The last two days I’ve been doing 5k walks before dinner but today after the walk I smashed my leg on my bed and now have a big bruise all down my right calf hurts like hell so we will see how it feels tomorrow but my guess is I’ll miss my walk

    Ouch! Sorry to hear that happened. I agree to start slow as it heals. It is good practice for not getting too anxious when you have to miss workouts. The urge to derail can be strong but know that missing one can happen and that doesn't mean you've derailed.

    Ouchie! Give yourself time to heal and then work back up to it. If it feels better, do a little walk; if not, rest.

    Better to miss a few workouts now than to risk a worse injury. Take the time you need to heal.
