Success(es)/struggle(s) of the week: Things have been so busy I forgot to write this last weekend. Everything is going well (except being, obviously, busy) and the anomalous dip bounced back up as predicted.
Starting vacation on Thursday and will be gone for a bit more than a couple of weeks, with lots of driving and fun foods to eat (I won't be turning down lobster in Maine.) I'm going in well under range and expect to be around the bottom of it afterward. My main concern is finding ways to not lose too much progress with my strength training...I'm going to try to be creative with bodyweight exercises.

Success/struggles of the week: Was traveling to see old friends. Finally home for the rest of the summer. Although my weight has been constant, I have been eating too much sugar and I am craving it each day so my goal for this week is to mostly avoid eating sugar (like cookies and ice cream). I also want to increase my exercise for the rest of summer.

Success/struggles of the week: Hello all! Looks like its time for me to join maintenance. I'm starting to up my calories to slow down my admittedly fast weight loss (Thanks multiple 100 mile months since march). I'm going to have to get from 2k calories a day to somewhere around 3100 calories with my current level of activity. I know I can eat that much as I obviously was eating that before I started recording. Anybody who wants to add me and keep me accountable to continue logging/checking in please do!1 -

Successes/struggles: Technically spent the last two weeks in a deficit trying to get back within my maintenance range, so it was a bit of a struggle to stay within my lower than normal calorie goal. The plus side was that I killed all of my workouts, but with that came some pretty extreme hunger, so I was feeling sluggish at the end of most days.2 -

Successes/struggles: Fell again while running on Thursday (broken paving is a real problem near where I live) and I’ve injured a knee again. I’m so cross with myself because this time I thought I was ok so got up and carried on. Fell at exactly 7km, ran for another 6. Got home and started to hurt so iced one knee and went to work. The other started to hurt so I iced that but with the school day (teacher) and the run and looking after my own kids when I got home I got over 28000 steps that day. And by evening could not bend my leg or put weight on it. Friday was bad, but it’s a bit better today. Both knees are puffy and I definitely need another rest day or two. I need to take this as a lesson to slow down a bit and look after myself more - just life gets in the way!!
Have a massive work week next week but after that it should ease up a bit. So I’m accepting the uptick in weight (prob have around .5lb of fluid in the knees right now lol) and the enforced rest and going to try and enjoy the hottest day of the year in the UK by lying around in the sun today.

Success(es)/struggle(s) of the week: I'm catching up on two weeks' worth of data as I was away last week. I've been doing planned surplus weeks with banked calories for the past couple of weeks, and it definitely shows as both my average weights and trending weights have crept up and are now outside the high end of my maintenance range. I'm trying not to be too concerned with it, as I know it's likely a combination of eating out at restaurants/high sodium meals quite often in addition to the surplus/extra food. I also kept my activity level up last week and got in 3 days with over 20k steps. I've got two more weeks that I plan to eat at a surplus (quick vacation for the 4th weekend, then a couple of meals out the following week), and then I plan to go into a couple of deficit weeks with fewer meals out after that.4 -

Got creeping wt graph to turn downwards - finally!
Successful in dropping average calories in June to 180 fewer per day than in May!!
Continuing to adjust to maintenance -
10 day average is down 0.84lb since Jan 1!
Practicing leaving food on plate has helped.
Challenges:
stopped exercising about 12 days ago when I came down with this cold. Thought I was better, did more, and now it’s worse again. (I’m immunosuppressed.) so, I’m concerned that my weight loss has been due to lack of exercise. I must admit I love feeling leaner, but know strength & health must come first.
If weight goes back to 154-155 when I get back to exercising, I will adjust my maintenance range up.
Trends are looking much better. Glad that my gradual changes are working.
Things I need to improve in July:
Continue to do what I need to do to get 7+ hours of sleep✅
Continue to Keep calorie average under 1900 ✅
Get back to gym once chest clears. Begin with some easy walks & stretches at home.
Be Careful: Limit eating out, especially.

My daughter went and got their marriage license now just waiting on a date. They will be getting married by a JP they sent out invitations to a party to celebrate for Aug 10 although getting married before then when is the question. I'm a planner and not knowing what is going on is driving me crazy.4 -

Success(es)/struggle(s) of the week: We were away for 5 nights (5 hotel breakfasts and 3-course dinners), with a long coach journey there on Sunday and back on Friday. I weighed 50.5 kg on Saturday morning but lost 1 kg by this morning. I expect the rest to go quite quickly. My proper weigh-in day is Monday so I will report in again tomorrow – in the July thread. We did a lot of walking and I used the hotel pool for a 30 minute swim 4 evenings.
I recently bought a new phone and I should be able to add a few more apps – I’m thinking I might try a weight trend app. What do people recommend for an android phone? I usually weigh every day when I’m at home but of course can’t weigh on holiday but I would like to see the overall pattern and averages and trend.

Success/struggles of the week: Back from a lot of travel and decided to see if I could drop a few more pounds in the next month or two. This week was my lowest weight in the last 24 years. Feeling healthy and good. Four days of yoga this week and a nice 7 mile hike up to 11,000 feet. Great to be in summer mode and getting more exercise. Hope everyone has a great week!3 -

Successes/Struggles: Weight took an unexpected jump.
Okay, not so unexpected. The 26th-28th I had a semi-annual work function, which involved 3 straight days of eating out. Apparently, you can't even get a chicken salad for under 1000 calories nowadays. Since it is only twice a year, and important to my work, I just tried to not significantly overeat in my non-working hours (although I found it impossible to stay under goal with 1 meal double my usual meal calories). So I went over on my calories for 3 days straight, ate out (thus, sodium, bloating) and also my monthly visitor showed up 4 or 5 days early, bringing water retention with her.1
