Any horse riders in here?

I ride daily and also as a job. I’ve notice lately that mounting is not as easy as it used to be, probably because of the change in horse height and terrain but it’s something that I would like to improve for both myself and the horses. What are some good exercises that would help with that?

If you have an assisted pull up machine - climb on the steps to the side, one foot on each, and hold on to the bars at the top. Instead of putting your knees on the pad, put one foot up. The motion is to push the pad down using your leg, flexing into your heel. Then switch legs. Here is a picture I found on google for a visual:

The other one I can think of would be sprint jumps. Picture below. You can either do this running, or stationary. Pull ups would help your upper body.
