Competition Prep Tips, Struggles & Encouragement

Hi all!

I searched the site but couldn't find anything recent from 2019 in the way of Competition Prep, training and diet, so I thought I'd start a fresh thread.

I am a 39 year old female currently training for my first Bikini Competition this October and another one on November (if all goes well...)

I'd love to chat with anyone, male or female who is currently training for a show, or has previously competed!

I want to hear the nitty gritty, stories, tales, struggles, victories... all of it! I'd love to support you on your journey as well and be there for you in any low moments along the way if you need a shoulder or a friend. :-) Feel free to add me - I haven't made any friends here yet, but I guess this is the first time I've put myself out there. lol

    I tried but didn't make it to the stage. I was going for Figure. I got too hungry and tired and sad. And my coach sucked. I did learn a lot from it though, so even though it wasn't a good experience for me personally, I was able to take some lessons from it.

    Maybe I will try again at some point. I would still like to strut on stage wearing the bling (that was my motivation).. butyeah.. getting there in good condition is not easy!

    Thanks for your reply! I'd really love to talk to you more about this. I have to be honest and say that I'm having daily struggles with a few aspects, but don't really have anyone to talk to about it... would you be up for a chit chat?
