Hi everyone, I’m somewhat new at this, but this time I’m determined to stick it through and learn to live a better healthier lifestyle and not eat garbage because I’m bored lol
I’m 26, and have struggled with weight gain, weight loss for a long time, trying different diets and losing weight and then gaining it all back or even twice as much.
Sometimes my motivation is super high and sometimes I feel like it all goes away and I don’t care. If anyone out there is the same way hopefully we can keep each other motivated, to not give up after we’re putting ourselves out there like this lol
I wish everyone a successful journey, not only are you happy physically but also mentally.
❤️

Hey there,
I find it helpful to not worry about how I feel. Sometimes I feel motivated, sometimes not. You might look at ways to move diet decisions out of the realm of things you are having to decide and feel like doing, and into the realm of things you just do. Not sure if that will speak to you, but it has been super helpful for me. Here's a favorite article on this practice: https://jamesclear.com/motivation0 -
Hi Elisa, I sent you a friend request
We all have those days/weeks that we lose any and all motivation, I'm definitely having one of those days today. When I started my journey a couple months ago I decided that I wouldn't care about my motivation anymore and that I would start focussing on my discipline and building better daily habits. I told myself that unless I'm willing to give up on my goals, then there's no excuse to stop putting in the work. Motivation can make it easier sometimes, but it's unreliable, it will never be there 24/7. Focus on your end goal, always 😊
I'd be happy to help motivate you along this journey, I'm very determined to reach my goals (as I have my wedding to prepare for now!!) so feel free to message any time for an extra kick0
