What do you do use for thigh chafting?

I’ve lost all the weight I needed to lose, but naturally I don’t have a thigh gap so I get a lil chub rub from wearing mini skirts and shorts.
I’ve used under arm deodorant but it only worked for an hour or so. What do you recommend for a long day? I’d rather a product over undergarments, it’s too hot.

I love body glide for all chafing purposes. I buy the original 2.5 oz 2 pack for $30 from Amazon and it lasts a whole year if not more. It's cheaper than the "for her" version.2

In NZ it's called skin glide and it's awesome! I have really sensitive skin and this is fab.1

The original strength works well, but I'd recommend the extra strength (it has a cooling effect that works well).1 -

I have had the best luck with Monistat anti chafing gel (#5 in the OP). Seems to stay on all day and does not come off on clothing.

Are these creams sticky? I'm headed to the beach in a couple of weeks, and definitely not looking forward to the rub + sand! Gold Bond powder is great for getting the sand out of sweaty creases, but it'd be nice to keep some off to begin with.0

I use a product called RunGuard that my LRS gave me to try out. It seems to work. It's like BodyGlide.
Afterwards, if I do have chafing in a place I didn't protect, I use an after sun product with aloe and lidocaine that heals quickly.0 -

I was responding to the title of the thread "What do you do use for thigh chafting?" so gave you what I do.
In your post you mentioned wanting a product so as to be less hot - I don't find longer thin shorts with a high percent of cotton (90% or higher) and low percent of spandex to be any hotter than shorter shorts.
I've gotten shorter shorts from time to time but noticed I seldom wear them because sticky thighs = yuck.10 -
Since I've lost weight, my thighs are no longer a problem... but I hike daily, and my poor boobs were chafing horribly in my sports bras. A welder friend from TX had the chafing problem under his arms, his upper body, from the heat of the shop and his arms rubbing his body... he recommended Monistat Chafing Relief Power Gel. THIS STUFF RULES!!!!! It goes on as a gel, but drys super fast to a powder-like feeling that cools and refreshes and DEFINITELY helps with chafing. You can get it at most drug stores, but you might have to ask to find it, it took the manager of my local CVS at least 10 minutes to find it for me!2

I said I rather a product oppose to undergarments ( like chafting shorts, or bandelettes) because I don’t want the extra layers it’s too hot for that. I never said anything about shorter shorts being less hot. I do wear biker shorts, but I like to have options/ variety and if there’s a product out there that can help me with chafting then I will give it a try.8 -
When I wear short shorts for too long, I am miserable. I like @kshama2001 ‘s thought. For me, my thighs slamming each other all day is no fun. 5 inch inseam FTW!

OP if you don’t care for suggestion, just move on to the next one. Don’t argue with the person who took time to offer advice/experience. 🙄14 -

Who’s arguing??? I was clarifying something I thought the OP misunderstood.

You are the OP - Original Poster - starter of the thread. (OP can also refer to Original Post, but in the context used above it means Poster.)
I didn't misunderstand you - I responded to your thread title "What do you do use for thigh chafting?" You went on to clarify that you were looking for a product. I don't use products. It's pointless to try to talk me into products, and there is no need to defend your preference for products, so you'd indeed be better off responding to the people who do use products.7 -
I'm with @kshama2001 Longer, wide, light trousers for me. No skin tight ones as those are too hot.4

I did coconut oil today. It worked but I wasn’t walking like crazy in the heat just around the mall in the AC.1
