Please need advise before I go to the gym today

So I have been working out 25 min cardio 20 min weights total of 45 min 4 days a week I eat around 1700 cal a day and my scale showed 5 days ago I lost 4 lbs and and then I weighed today and now it went up 5 lbs so I dont know if I am doing something wrong I'm just frustrated

Exercise can lead to water retention as the muscles repair themselves. There are a number of other reasons, too. Be patient.

Weight loss is rarely linear. Watch the trends, use the data, and adjust as needed. Changes in workouts, sodium intake, sleep patterns, hormones... the list of things that can alter weight loss trends is long.

Thanks guys! I can eat 1907 cal a day to maintain my weight and I dont eat that many a day plus with my workout 4 times a week means i am in a calorie deficit is what i am gathering from a video i watched0

I go up and down. It’s SO annoying! Keep the course and watch the trend over three or four weeks0
