Happened awhile ago but still funny. Competition between my 6 and 4 year old, who can draw the best.
6 yr old: I can draw a house, look (proceeds to draw house)
4 yr old: I can draw crocs (proceeds to draw dots all over the oaper.)
6 yr old: how is that crocs?
4 yr old: it's the holes in the crocs!

My 8yo daughter randomly plots how she can destroy her future enemies.3

I'm not a parent but I love kid stories! My girlfriends have a ton of kids and here are a couple of faves.
- friend is in a science field and was doing her master's degree. She had 6 yr old twin boys at the time and one of them told his kindergarten teacher that his mom cut up a real dead body, but he didn't get to see because he was at his grandma's house (as that's who watched him while she was in class). The teacher called with real concern, which in the end they found hilarious.
- another friends' daughter had waist length blond hair. She was about 4 yrs old. She walked into the living room with shoulder length hair that was honestly pretty well done, it looked only a little uneven (!) She totally denied having cut her hair and acted like she had no idea how it was shortened. Scissors had disappeared too. She got in trouble and they evened out her hair...but despite lots of asking what happened to the scissors, she never told. And the scissors and hair weren't found until a year (!) later when they were moving, and they were jammed up underneath some trim at the back of her bedroom closet in such a way that they almost weren't found at all. This young woman is now 21 and we tease her about being a potential serial killer.0 -
I have 3 kids - funny, recent thing that happened is my 9yo boy and 6yo girls were talking. My son didn't have a shirt on so my daughter pulled hers off to as it was hot. My son told her not to show her boobies, and she looked at hers then his chest and said "I still have pecs like you so it's no big deal".2

My 4 year old once asked me (while pointing to my chest):
"Mommy, are there babies in there?"2 -
While my girlfriend's daughter isn't biologically mine, for all intents and purposes she is. I love how when we vid-call, she always makes a point to poke her curled tongue out at me. Something we can both do, but my girlfriend can't. It brought us closer.1

Moments like this. They aren’t funny but they make my heart smile. That weird shape on the end is an infinity symbol.
