Swerve Sugar Replacement in MFP
Hi! I'm looking to make a lower-carb version of my Mom's banana bread recipe (yes, I know bananas are loaded with carbs, but hang with me). I bought a package of Swerve granular sugar and some almond flour and created a new recipe in MFP, but the carb count was almost identical to the original recipe. I'm guessing that MFP didn't calculate net carbs with the erythritol in the Swerve. Anyone have any idea how I can find a more accurate carb count that shows up correctly in the recipe for counting macros? TIA!

MFP doesn't do net carbs at all. You will have to do that calculation yourself. Just make sure you have carbs and fiber as one of your tracked macros. At the end of the day just subtract the fiber from your total carbs and you'll know how many carbs you have eaten for a day. I do wish it had a column for net carbs but there's a LOT of things I wish MFP did differently.1
