Hi there, I’m new to the community and wondered if any old timers (like myself) have struggled a bit with staying motivated to exercise, but managed to overcome this? Any tips? Cheers, Cal πŸ‘πŸ»

πŸ™‹β€β™€οΈπŸ™‹β€β™€οΈπŸ™‹β€β™€οΈ! It’s a struggle every day, but I’m finally to a point that I do it anyway because I feel better. Grandkids are the only thing that sometimes temp me to skip it 😁. I have to work so much harder at this age than I ever did in my 20s or 30s.

Never. BUT (and this is a big but) my main. Consistent exercise is something l love to do. My other exercise requires a more discipline and is not as consistent (although as it has become more habitual it has become more consistent.)

I think the key is to experiment with many different activities until you find something you actually like to do. It can be anything that involves movement and elevates your heartrate. If you hate doing it, motivation will likely be a continual challenge.
