new keto hopeful

Hi Everyone,

I need to seriously loose weight for my blood pressure and activity level. My doctor suggested Keto and so here I am day 1 of my new lifestyle remaining hopeful that with your support I can achieve my goals. :)

    Keto can be a good way to control your hunger as some people feel fuller for longer on a higher fat/protein lower carb way of eating. As long as you're able to stay in a calorie deficit (eat fewer calories than you burn), you'll be successful.

    There are plenty of low carb posts and I believe there's a low carber's group on MFP as well.

    The groups I recommend and enjoy are "Keto", "Low Carber Daily Forum', and a recipe swap group (even though not a keto/low carb group, can still find a lot of keto-friendly recipes there).
