Does anyone know if you gain weight from lifting weights? I lost 2 pounds this week, and gained them back after last night. I am hoping that's what it is, because I know i didn't eat alot last night.

Yes you can gain "weight" from muscle building but it is gonna take more than 1 day. Our body fluctuates daily and weekly in weight. My doctor said people can fluctuate as much as 6 lbs depending on their diet: water intake, sodium, etc. Don't be a slave to the scales. Pick a day and stick to it. Rely on measurements and how your clothes feel. I bet tomorrow or the next day those lbs will be gone. Sometimes I gain a few only the next time to be down .5 or more from my original weight.0

It takes a long time to build 1 lb of muscle - also, you need to be eating a lot of protein and usually surplus calories to increase in weight through just muscle. Your muscles can't start weighing more out of thin air, working them hard strengthens them but working them hard with calories to spare builds them.
You are probably retaining water weight, or had a poop a couple hours from being ready, something like that. You wouldn't have gained 2 lbs of muscle in a week0
