Hello! I’m new here. I seriously need to lose weight and get in better shape!! I have high blood pressure, very high cholesterol and heart problems. I’m an Air Force Veteran and 54 years old. I tend to eat out of boredom and from stress. Any helpful tips would be greatly appreciated!!

Welcome! As long as you track your food and follow MFP's guidelines you will be just fine. It's important to remember that this is not a diet - no food is off limits! However, you're going to find that you feel much more satisfied and able to stick to your calories if you eat healthier foods like fruits, veggies, and lean meats. I have a problem with boredom snacking too, but I try to always have low calorie options around like grapes or rice cakes! I've also learned to keep my lunches and dinners pretty light so I have room for a bedtime snack. You figure it out as you go. Best of luck2

I'm an Air Force vet... 45 yrs old, with high blood pressure and a history of heart problems.
I recently started eating keto due to a whole lot of health problems. So far, so good. Love it.
Good luck on your health journey!!
