My playlist is woefully small. Any song recommendations with a good beat? Usually listen to the Top 40 & Alt Rock genres.

    It may be a little out of your wheelhouse, but Hatebreed's Perseverance is one of the most encouraging songs ever. It's literally just a guy telling you that you can overcome any obstacles over metal. I've got a running playlist on Spotify called Run Fat Boy Run if you want to look through for ideas.
