How to gain weight if you can’t cook

Any tips or suggestions on gaining weight quickly and safely without knowing how to cook? Also any easy meal recommendations would be helpful. Thanks

I would actually suggest you either take cooking classes, just the basic stuff, or have a friend or family member show you. Cooking is actually really easy. Surprisingly so, actually.

Eating out or having one of those meal delivery systems can break the bank.

cooking the basics isn't too hard. if i can do you, you can too :)

just eat whatever you'd like otherwise and eat at a calorie surplus

lots of peanut butter sandwiches ;)

The very basics of cooking can be super easy to learn and quick, especially with all the options we have in grocery stores today. Lots of decent prepackaged things easy to heat up that have some good things like vegetables in them. Add a protein (you can buy those ready cooked or "ready to stick in the oven"). Add a starch (lots of "5min in the microwave rice options even some fancier ones now - or learn to make baked potatoe/sweet potatoe in microwave.

Smoothies and meal shakes (you can use nut butters, full fat yogurt/dairy, protein powder, oats, fruit like bananas, mangos, pineapple (you can get these frozen too), make sandwiches (peanut butter and jam or avocado), granola and full fat yogurts, can you make eggs? you can do omelettes loaded with anything you want, throw some spinach in there with cheese on a bagel. You can buy pre-made cooked chicken strips then throw that on top of lettuce, add seeds, nuts, croutons, eggs, cheese, high calorie dressing, that will add up pretty quickly.

If the problem is lack of space like in a dorm situation get yourself some kind of portable stovetop or panini press or quesadilla maker. You would be surprised what I saw college boys with the munchies accomplish with a panini press. Bread+filling+tinfoil wrap= Any sandwich ever

How many calories are you trying to eat, and how many pounds do you need to gain? Are you recovering from an eating disorder, or just looking to bulk up?

You dont have to be a master cook like those in Masterchef, basic cooking skills is pretty easy and doesn't even take time
U can learn it from YouTube or if someone in ur home good in cooking could teach u, the rest comes with trying like spices and so
