There is no benefit to using ACV as a drink or dietary supplement.
Enjoy using it as an ingredient in dressings, marinades or as called for in any recipe.3 -
Sorry but no, if ACV alkalized your body you would probably die. Your body does a fine job of balancing it's own PH value.
ACV may or may not help with digestion depending on who you speak to.
Lemon water also does not change the bodies PH value.
And if you were thinking any of this is linked to losing weight it really isn't
ACV is good for using in cooking and on salads as a dressing. Lemon water not so much.2 -

No it doesn't and neither does water with lemon juice.2 -
Helping with digestion is subjective - so if you find drinking ACV or lemon water helps you with digestion - then no problem, do it.
But neither help in alkalising the body - they are both weak acids, how would they make anything more alkaline????
And anyway your body does not need alkalising or acidifying so not only do these substances not do that, but it doesn't need doing either.2 -
Also used for cleaning
My friend said she lost loads of weight using ACV.5 -
I have had a lot of success with Apple Cider Vinegar. We eat a lot of fruit in my house and it's summer, which means fruit flies. Little cups of ACV and a drop of dish soap will attract and trap all of them! The flies will ignore fruit for the vinegar. It's amazing! Absolutely try it if you get fruit flies. I have never tried drinking it and it's too late now that I associate the smell with dead flies.7

Even if it could "alkalize" the body, it wouldn't survive a dunk in your stomach acid. It'd neutralize it in a second. Human bodies tend to float between a PH of 7.35 and 7.45, and any variation beyond that in either direction can cause issues, so there's no real need to change the acidity of your body. In fact, it can be harmful. Fortunately, ACV is absolutely useless at doing that.4
