aahhhhh Hurricanes! gotta love em! I'm in Florida and know too well what you are going through. Board games, cards, book and puzzles are a must! In 2004 we were without power for over a week here. There were people who had it far worse than we did though. It was a time for bonding and getting to know your neighbors...we helped each other and laughed and had a good time doing it. It was kind of like being a kid again when there were no video games and only 3 channels on the TV. We had to entertain ourselves and we came up with some pretty wild ways to do it. lol Stay safe and try to enjoy some of your down time... just jump in and do it.

Seriously, this waiting game is annoying. It's like we're under complete lockdown here in Western Massachusetts because the governor declared us a state of emergency and told everyone to stay off the roads. I should really do an exercise DVD before the power goes out (at least, the meteorologists are having a field day telling us that it's going to go out.)

Seriously. They're having a field day, period. We have no public transportation in NYC until like Monday I hear, so even if we weren't on lockdown nobody can get anywhere anyway.
