America's Test Kitchen! That show is definitely food porn...and the recipes are so easy! I like to watch that while I'm on the elliptical. :)
  • any of the paula dean programs

every thing she makes looks so yummy but OH MY GOD fattenng

"First, you need a stick of butter..."

I made a meatloaf recipe of hers, and when I told my husband that, he asked how much butter I used. LOL. None, surprisingly!

i discovered last weekend that here in the uk we can get 4 hours of the food network each day on freeview (6-10pm channel 49 for those that didn't know) and figured it was going to either kill me or cure me, so far it has cured me i've not wanted anything really naughty all week although the lobster ravioli that was on diners drive thrus and dives did make me want to buy a plane ticket so i could sample it.

the worst on on uk tv at the moment is jamie olivers summer thing that he's doing at the moment, he ruined a really good week i was having by making a pancake cake (crepes) layering them up with alternating layers of cream and melted chocolate the covering the outside with chopped nuts and raspberries, guess who woke up craving pancakes (crepes) and devoured a batch! needless to say i've not watched it since then i can't risk it
  • Just watched 2 shows on the Cooking Channel last night about pizza -- Ciao America with Mario Batali and Pizza Outside the Box. Mmmmmm, pizza!

haha i was on pizza outside the box! trust me, the wild forest mist is to die for :D

I really don't like watching Man vs Food. Not only that I have to sit through watching the good food but also if its not a local place I go crazy
  • I agree with the Cupcake Wars and Diners, Drive Inns, and Dives. He really does make everything seem so delicious. He's always like "Oh YES SO GOOOOD!!!" Makes me want it... but I can't seem to stop watching it.

Weight loss programs. Any shows about weight loss and dieting make me want to eat. Things that are related to food, cooking... I'm fine with those. It doesn't make me hungry at all.

I would think things like Ace of Cakes would be easiest to watch though, since it is more art than food. Why would you want to eat them? o.O

    TV in general
    TOO MUCH OF IT !

As a former couch potato since my teens, 30 years later I am going back to 17 and doing life all over again with little regard to TV.

I like doing life 2nd time around.

I also sat in front of the computer too much, so I have to be careful - MFP is addictive, but it makes me want to get up and keep moving.
