Exercise calories

Options
Hi Folks

When viewed on-line my account adds my exercise calories to my daily allocation (giving me a little wriggle room if I work harder) but on the app (apple) it deducts my exercise calories (meaning the harder I work, the less I can eat)

Have I got a setting wrong? I have reinstalled the app but it remains the same.

Any suggestions

Norman

Apple sends the wrong info to MFP to do math with.

All trackers are supposed to send Total Daily burned with timestamp
That's all that's needed to do math with for correct eating adjustment.

If workouts are sent, or manually entered, it's assumed the tracker knows about those calories and it's contained within the Total daily burned figure.
So MFP subtracts them since it already knows about them, before doing it's math.

Apple sends about the same Sedentary burn amount MFP estimates, not daily burned.
    Apple then sends workouts.
Apple does not send what you've burned above sedentary (move calories).

All that incorrect method causes adjustments to go the wrong direction.

    Disconnect from Apple directly.
In App store find Pacer and sync to that.

Then within Pacer app sync with Apple account.

Now the correct info will be provided to MFP to adjust eating levels as they should.
