111 pounds gone, and it feels FANTASTIC!

On the left is me at 425 pounds last year. On the right is me onstage at Tucson Folk Festival last April.
November 4 2018 was my first day on MyFitnessPal, since then I have shed 111 pounds and completely changed my lifestyle. No more snacking, MUCH more exercise.
I have 65 pounds left to burn off by April of 2020...and may have that done before Thanksgiving. It is a completely different life for me now. So much more energy and so many more cool things to do that do NOT involve sitting on a couch watching other people have fun on TV!

Good job.
I hope you don't mean 65 pounds by this Thanksgiving because you need to be slowing your weight loss down now so you don't start burning muscle. Your average up until now has been 3.08 which is aggressive but fine for a person who has a lot of weight to lose. To get another 65 by Thanksgiving you would need to lose 3.35 pounds per week which is too fast now.
I also started really heavy and I am also currently experiencing a new life after losing more than 150 pounds so far. I am not done yet either but I am in no hurry.

Thanks for the advice - I am spending more time strength training now, so a loss of 65 by Thanksgiving is probably not as wise as my original goal of April 2020. My objective here is to NOT be one of the 80% who put everything back on within a few years, building an enjoyable, sustainable active life around this whole process.

I am with you. Being as heavy as I started was mightily unpleasant and losing the weight has involved some unpleasantness as well. I like to think it will be a highly motivating reason to watch my weight like a hawk for the rest of my life but I imagine many of the 80 percent think that too. I see a lot of people say that maintaining is harder than losing and I don't doubt that is true but I guess I will find out when I get there. Hopefully the good people at MFP can help guide me through the challenges.
I haven't calculated how long it will take me to get inside a goal range. I think I would rather not know until it is really close. I know approximately what I will weigh next Feb 15 but that is as far as I have taken it.5 -
