How often is it okay to eat sweet potatoes as they are very high in vitamin A. I have been eating them daily for the past week and did not realize that I have been eating 600% of my vitamin A.

Thanks

If they fit into your calorie count, go for it. I'm surprised you're not getting bored with them. ☺

Apparently, getting excess from supplements is dangerous but in food form not so much.

How much sweet potato are you consuming?

The "vitamin A" you get from food isn't really vitamin A but a vitamin A precursor -- a thing your body turns into vitamin A. Assuming your body is functioning properly, it won't convert the vitamin A precursor into vitamin A if you don't need it, so you can't really overdose from "vitamin A" in food. (Although I believe you can still -- harmlessly -- turn a bit orange.)
