I love Tae Bo...I can't say I have had specific results from it because I haven't done if often enough. I have a 5k race coming up so I have been focusing on running. However, Tae Bo burns tons of calories so when I need a big burn that's what I usually do!0

I've been doing Tae-Bo on Tuesdays and Thursdays when I take a break from 30 Day Shred. I love it! I am sweating like crazy after a good session of Tae-Bo. I used to take a class every Tuesday and Thursday in high school, and in 3 months I had lost over 30lbs. I think the upbeat music is what makes it more fun than most workouts. Considering the amount of calories it burns, it really doesn't feel like as much of a workout. I mean, I'm definitely out of breath and sweating like crazy when I'm done 30-40 minutes of it, but I feel more refreshed then after any other workouts.
Are you going to start doing it regularly?0 -
starting today i plan to do it regularly! i got the boot camp tae bo box set! it says not to do it everyday to rotate days, so now i need to find something to do on days i dont do tae bo. how is the 30 day shred?? and where do u get it ?0

Hi,
I started doing Tae Bo over 10 years ago ftom the videos and later DVD's. I also took Tae Box classes a few times a week at the gym, back before Billie Blanks said you couldn't call them that either. I loved it so much that I looked into getting certified as an instructor (but not at all practical). I would highly recommend it to anyone but definitely make sure you do the instructional first so you can learn the moves and form and then go on to the basic. You don't want to do them wrong and get injured. That said, it's like anything else, you get out of it what you put into it.
I also do the 30 day shred, if I can't get out to the gym. If she is talking about the one I do, it's Jillian Michaels and you can get it from Amazon for under $10.
Best of luck to you!0 -

Yes! I tried Level 1 of Jillian Michaels: 30 Day Shred on On Demand for free, before I purchased the DVD on Amazon. You can only do Level 1 on On Demand though, and 30 Day Shred has 3 levels, so if you want the full 30 Day workout, I'd suggest ordering the DVD. Or you could try and see if your library has it to rent. :-)0
