Tired unmotivated and chubby mom

Depressing title? Yeah, yeah, yeah, but that's me in a nutshell for now at least. I'm old enough and experienced enough to know that the way I'm feeling today or this week is not how I have to feel in the future. I'm 31, married to a hard core punk rocker who can eat his weight in carbs daily and not gain an ounce. We have 3 kidsof our own and I run a licensed daycare with 8 children under 5 daily. This job has more perks than pitfalls for sure however I get up no later than 4:30 am and never head to bed before 10 thus I'm freaking tired. I prep meals for littles and run around like a chicken with her head cut off, then overcompensate eating. I've got 30 lbs to take off this year, and some healthier habits to build. I'm hoping the community here will help to keep me motivated and realistic! Peace out ✌️

I'm right there with ya! My husband is the same way, and I have a 9 year old boy, an 8 year old girl, a 5 year old girl, an energetic miniature Australian shepherd, and a 5 month old baby boy. I've been trying to lose weight ever since I gave birth to my 5 year old and have been successful at times-but never quite accomplished my goal and I always gained it back PLUS more. My kids are my biggest supporters-my son has even given himself the title of "Diet Cop" lol. It really put things in perspective for me to look at it this way: all day long I'm doing things for other people - eating healthy, working out, and shaping my body to be the HEALTHIEST AND SEXIEST VERSION POSSIBLE is for ME. It's self love. As a mother and wife, we have so much pressure to do so much for our family- get healthy for you girl!
