    Are you talking about the Stephen King series? I started that series many years ago, but I don't even know how many books are in it. I feel like I read 3 or 4 and then waited forever for another that never came, or maybe it came after I stopped looking for it.

    Maybe this isn't even the same one you're talking about in which case disregard ;)
