elfie9863: Olive (low fat) spread is a butter substitute. We don't get margarine in the UK anymore (because of the hydrogenated vegetable oil they used to use) so they just sell 'spreads' in the supermarket now. I won't eat even that if I have something on top of the toast (like my favourite, mackerel).0
