Need new clothes, but need some advice...

Hi all, I have no one to ask this and am hoping to find some help here. I’ve lost 90 pounds. Sure it’s fabulous and I couldn’t be happier, but I’m running into some unexpected problems. The worst one right now is my arms. They’ve always been huge, but now they’ve become quite painful. The flab on my upper arms is so loose and flappy now that most tasks I’m trying to do - household chores, painting, swimming... - have become mostly unbearable. I’m wondering if there’s some kind of shirt or sleeve that would act like a compression fitting to try to keep the jiggle to a dull roar. At 23”, I can squeeze down to about 20”. I wouldn’t even know where to start looking for a solution.

Great job on the 90 pounds! Congratulations!!!
If it’s specifically for swimming, try looking into a local dive shop for a thin wetsuit. They should have some that you could try on.
Look for something made by Henderson, they offer a little more “give” in their products.
Or maybe a plain Under Armour shirt would do the trick. I usually wear one as a base layer when the temperature drops.1 -
There are various types of upper arm compression garments that might do the trick for you. Some are just sleeves, while others are made almost like a crop top.
This is one of the crop top style ones: https://www.amazon.com/BRABIC-Surgical-Compression-Corrector-Shapewear/dp/B07HQGX677/
This is the sleeve style one: https://www.amazon.com/Besjex-Compression-Sleeve-Comfort-Performance/dp/B07DXBWHXW
(I'm not recommending either, as I've never used them; just posting some options.)
If chafing is a problem, many people like Body Glide, though I prefer good old petroleum jelly.1 -
Thank you for the links! At least I know there’s something out there. Might be a challenge getting the size right🙄 But made my day having a place to start!1

For swimming have a look at Rash vests, they're designed to go over swim suits and stop chafing from surf boards etc. Quite widely available.
I've also seen sleeve compression garments along the lines of spanx and that kind of stuff, so might be worth looking at that kind of thing for solutions.1
