    I’m in an accountability group that will be weighing-in until December 1st; my overall goal is 30 pounds lost, hopefully 25 by december 1. I’d like to lose around 8 pounds a month (my very ambitious goal is to lose 10 this first month, since the first pounds should come off more easily). To that end:

    Ultimate Goal Weight: To get back to a healthy weight for my height. I'm 5 feet and I'm considered obese and I can feel it. I want to get my weight down to 120. I monthly goal is to lose 2 lbs for the remaining weeks in August which would be 6 lbs.

    I wouldn't mind a little more forward motion, lol. Too much indulging in the tempting treats at work, balanced slightly by plenty of walking during my shifts. I can do better, though!

    I have walked 7 miles almost everyday since the start of the month. This is a 2 hour walk with hills, I feel 100% better. But the scale hasn’t budged. I know I have to watch what I eat in order to see a drop in weight so that’s my focus going forward. Glad to see so many of you out here doing your best to lose weight. You’re inspiring me. BTW I find this message system clunky. Don’t you? Wish we were on Instagram! Would love to give you all individual high-5s!
