I wanted to give aa shout out to all my fellow MFP members on the East Coast of the US who weathered Irene's wrath. Just some wet carpet in the basement here.

Not sure exactly, but I think you could count that as heavy/vigorous cleaning. Maybe that would be close.0

Same here (though I rolled up the carpets before they got soaked).
A bit flooded and the dehumidifier is working overtime (and making little headway).
Ive already wetvacc'd 3 times... More to come.
