Hello!
I have been working out and sticking to my meal plan for the past month or so and have yet to lose a single pound!
Any suggestions on why or how to get rid of the unwanted weight?

Thank you. That is me but it is from last year. Have put on 8-10 pounds since and driving me nuts!1

Well, at least you're not gaining! And, you should be getting into better shape. So, life's good!
Anyway, it always comes down to the same things:
- Reasonable goals
- A reasonable calorie plan
- Accurate logging6 -
You might be eating a bit more than you think. I'd cut 100-200 more calories and see if it starts to drop.0

Do you weigh your foods? It's possible you're eating more than you believe you are.3

If you only have 10 pounds to lose, you should expect weight loss to be very slow and require very accurate logging.
Weigh ALL of your food. Make sure you are consistently hitting your calorie goal without going over it. You have a very small deficit, and whenever you skip logging or estimate instead of weighing, you are likely making that deficit even smaller.
Aim for a 0.5 lb/week rate of loss, and recognize that even that may be too fast for your body.
If you just started exercising, you are likely experiencing normal water weight fluctuation that can mask fat loss on the scale.
In addition, if you are at a healthy BMI but unhappy with your appearance, consider recomp instead of weight loss.6 -
