How often do you weigh?

Hi everyone. I am just starting this journey over again and in the past I have alway had a hard time not stepping on the scales every morning. I wonder if others weigh in more or less than once a week.

Once a week, sometimes once every 2 weeks.0

I generally weigh twice a week (I'm wayyyy too impatient to just weigh once per week) but I only record it once per week.0

I only have one official weigh-in day, but being compulsive, I weigh every day. It doesn't affect my outlook on my weight loss, but it does give me insight into the fluctuations my body goes through daily.0

I weigh everyday and if I lose I record it, if I gain or stay the same I don't. I find it keeps me more motivated to keep moving in the right direction and if I have a gain (which is usually just water weight) I just adjust what I ate the day before so I don't do it again.0

This is me too. It doesn't freak me out if I'm up a pound or two here and there during the week. It lets me know how my actions immediately impact my body. BUT I only record on my weekly weigh in day.0 -
yes, i officially weigh in on Mondays, but step on the scale every morning.0

I weigh everyday and then i take the lowest weigh in with me going in on the following week for reference.0

I do what lindsay does. Whatever works for you, it keeps me motivated! If I lose it keeps me focused, if I don't or gain it motivates me to try harder. If I don't go on the scale for a few days and I gain usually I get upset and become foolish. As I said everyone is different, I know people who weigh once a month. Good luck.0

Every morning, and I write the number on my calendar. On MFP, though, I update my weight every week or so.
As others have said, whatever works for you :flowerforyou:0 -
I weigh myself every morning after my bathroom ritual, but before getting dressed. I more or less get a consistent reading, so it's not a big deal for me. I don't get too worked up about a number unless I've hit that number three days in a row.0

Whenever I feel like it. Sometimes it's 2 or 3 days in a row. Sometimes its a week or more. If I ate bad, or a lot of salt, or am on my period I won't weigh for a while. Or if I finally see a loss I won't weigh because I don't want to see it go up at all.0

YES. I do the exact same thing. I HAVE to weight everyday or I go crazy, lol. But, if I gain a wee bit, I don't freak out, just try to adjust. I record all my losses on MFP, but don't adjust it if I gain, just wait until I go below my previous MFP weight again. Keeps me motivated and I'm too curious to not weigh!0 -
I officially weigh in on Fridays.....but I do weigh myself every morning. Works best for me!0

Thanks everyone. I think I will continue to check the scales each morning but only record once week. Since I started here on Wednesday I will only record it that day, and see how that works for me.0

For me, if I am feeling good and following my new lifestyle, I don't like to weigh too often. If I don't lose what I had hoped I get depressed. I check to see how my clothes are fitting. I feel better when I eat right so why let the scale ruin my day!0

I weigh in every day.... I like to see HOW what I eat affects my weight.0
