weight loss goal

Hi! My name is James and I currently weigh 227 lbs. I am setting a target weight at 190 lbs. To do this, I am doing 5 miles on the elipitical every day and have changed my diet drastically . I have gone to the Gym every day for years but have not lost the weight. I realized that you can exercise all you want, but if I didn't change my eating habits, i would never lose the weight. Now, all I consume is fruits, vegetables, and a protein shake before the gym.i have already lost 15 lbs and am determined to reach my target weight. any feedback would be appreciated.

    Don’t forget if you go to the gym it’s harder to gauge your actual weight. As you will be gaining muscles. So if you work out hard. Visual weight loss assessment will be more beneficial than scales.
