So I did my longest training run yet (9.27 miles, took about 2 hours cause I'm kinda slow) this morning and it was the first time I had soggy socks...would love some brand/store recommendations for technical socks if any runners can help me out!?

I have some Nike technical socks which are pretty good. I also found some generic ones in a supermarket which are equally as good. 1000 Mile socks are great for blister prevention too.

I use smart wool running socks. I think they're great. Disclaimer: I run much shorter distances than you.

I swear I have tried every pair of socks there is because I am super duper blister prone.
Baleuga socks are pretty nice -- as are dry max hot weather.
They just upgraded the drymax hot weather socks so you can only get a superthin, so I had to move on.

I am now using Drymax Ultra sock :)

I have some non-brand ones I got from Old Navy on sale that work great. Balega are also very good, but expect to shell out a bit more money for them.

Trust me, taso, I normally run MUCH shorter distances too...I think that's why I haven't had the need for fancy socks til now--my other runs are like 3-4 miles tops.

I use drymax socks. Never had an issue with them and I've never had a blister. Can't remember which ones I got, I think ultra. They're light weight for warmer weather.

Cotton is the devil's fabric when it come to running! I use Asics and Drymax. Try some different pairs and see what you like.
