Hi!I started out after my daughter was born last Dec. So far I've lost a total of 34 pounds. I've lost 11 pounds and counting here on mfp. I'm looking for support of any challeges that I can be involed in. Currently I am on week 4 of p90x so I know how to "bring it" per say. I try to burn 500 calories a day, I like lifting weights, and beside reaching my goal of being 145 pounds or less, I would like to have muscle during the process. So are there any female who are in the same boat as I am? around 5'6 looking to lose 16 plus pounds? Any support would be great, tips, ideas, challenges. Also mom of 2, so any moms out there, great so we can relate when it comes to getting the abs back!
Thanks!

  • Hi there! I have been doing Turbo Fire for the last few months and have lost 10 inches which I am very happy of but after recently losing 23 pounds I have hit a wall so I have ordered P90X and am going to do a hybrid of Turbo Fire and P90X. I think the strength training will really help me break thru the plateau. Can't wait to get started! Have you looked at the Shakeology? I have been drinking Shakeology and it is amazing. Tastes wonderful, is soooo healthy for you, low in calories, gives you amazing energy and is so easy to make! It regulates blood sugar levels and lowers cholesterol. If you have any questions about it, let me know!!!

Hey! I'm also 5'6", looking to lose about 10lbs more. In June 2010 I started a diet journal in a notebook, wrote down everything I ate. Started then at 149lbs. Now at 127 & started MFP a month ago. It helps tremendously! The support, the diary, SEEING the value of what you eat. It was eye opening for me! Good luck on your goals! Use this site, there are tons of great tools here. :)

You're doing fine and looks like you'd be better support than actually needing it.
