Oh the week

This has been the week from he_ll.
I have yet to actually make it to the gym. but my body is all achy and sore. I think i may be coming down with some sort of bug but I can't be sure. And since I'm not sure I can't even try to use the "oh crap, i'm sick" excuse.
I'm really annoyed with myself for not getting to the gym and not being motavited. I haven't even recorded foods! Except for a sandwich here or there. I'm upset but trying to think positive about how I will start up again soon.
When you guys have bad weeks how to you get back on track?

Well, when you start on a new diet, it's easy to stick to because it captures your interest. So how about trying to do Weight Watchers along with this, and see if you can stick to it that way. Or try setting mini goals, or maybe start a new group to lose __lbs by x/x/09 :flowerforyou:0

I configured a system whereby I cannot "opt out." (My pattern is that if I miss even one day, it's too easy to skip the next day, too.)
So now I go to the YMCA in my building at work, BEFORE work! So if I miss a day, I have no excuse to change my routine the next day. I still have to get up and come in. If I overslept or chickened out, I'd sit here in guilt all day, thinking I should go in the evening. That would be torture, so I wouldn't even try it, lol.
So far it's working!0 -
When I have a bad day or days, my motivation is knowing that when I do go to the gym I get more calories which means I can eat more, sometimes I even have enough for my favorite cookie That's usually what motivates me. If you aren't sure if you are coming down with something just go and walk for a half hour on the treadmill and do some abs or something. Anything that won't stress your body out too much. Who knows you might ease your cold up!
Another thing that you really need to start doing is logging everything you eat. I know it hurts to see what you thought was healthy being logged in for way more than you thought, but for as much it hurts it really does help in the long run. So that you know where you stand before and after the gym. Sometime if you workout enough you could have enough calories for a whole sandwich at a restaurant instead of just half or with no sauce. I wish you the best of luck!!!! :drinker:0 -

You just gotta Bring It!! You have it in you ...if you can type here you can log food its just ...having the reasons to do so..I would write your goals on paper sometimes when we do that we choose what we want more...healthy active lifestyle ...or feeling as if we didnt accomplish our goals....I wish you much success!!0
