Ahhh High Heels

I have started wearing them lately. They make everything you wear look great! They make you stand straighter, taller. They make you look leaner and show off the sexy legs that we all work so hard for....Yup, my world has changed due to a simple pair of shoes...no turning back now...who knew!

    They make you poke out your chest and your butt, due to the posture you have to maintain to walk in them.


    They also kill my toes. :frown:

    I wear them most days anyhow, callouses and blisters be danged! :grumble:

    :laugh: Yeah, just watch anything with Jo-Lo in it. You will never see her in flats! Heels are also the magic butt lifter.

    I also would love to get a great pair of heels. Alas, I haven't worn heels since the 1st time I was pregnant and it seems like I've either been pregnant or carrying a baby in my arms for years now.:blushing:

    Start small.
    Try a Cuban heel (inasfar as dancing shoes style this way are called Cuban heels).
    The heel is shorter, maybe only 1.5 - 2'' so not huge, and the heel is placed up under the shoe a little more, allowing (in my opinion) for better balance.

    I used to live in heels. Seriously, in sixth form and my first year of uni, I wore the things so much it hurt my legs to come down and place my feet flat. I must retrain myself back into them before I leave uni.

    New goal! To wear heels at least once a week

    I love heels! Ahh! I haven't worn them so much since I started dating my husband (he's an inch shorter than me), but I still love them. I am definitely completely in love with my high heeled cowboy boots...Steve Maddens. I got them on sale for $80. Ah...I love those things and wear them whenever I get the chance (which isn't often enough).

    I am definitely getting a pair for when I go to pick up my Hubby from the airport. His 1st tour to Iraq...I'm gonna be at least 30 lbs lighter when he gets home, and the cutest outfit I can find...

    Those are so cute. I could not walk in them, but oh so cute. I have weak ankles so my heels have to stay short. Maybe some day.

    Ditto! Being 5'1", heels are necessary to feel like a woman instead of a 5th-grader- most of whom are actually TALLER than I am. Plus, hubby LOVES heels (on me!LOL), the higher the better! Ladies, for those of you afraid of heels because you think they hurt, keep looking! I don't do foot pain! But if I try on enough styles- even pointy toes, I can eventually find a pair that feel good. BTW, I wear an 8W!!! Thank you first child!

    Oh- the old mantra of "they'll stretch so get them a little tight" is WRONG!!!!!!! If there's any pain at all, don't buy!
