protein-y snacks?

I'm a big snacker. I think sometimes the snack section(S) on my log are more cals than my meals.

But, I have a tendancy to go for carby snacks. Obviously veggies & fruits are good so I'm guilt-free on those, but I'd love to hear some more options! And they don't have to be necessarily "low-cal;" I can handle portion control - I think :)

Thanks for the input!

P.S. .....I hate beef jerky, don't you dare suggest it!! :P

Smartass: Turkey jerky, deer jerky, bison jerky, etc.

Really though for me, protein shakes, cottage cheese, greek yogurt and just plain ol' hunks of refrigerated meat are my go to options for protein snacks :)

I like greek yogurt with a half serving of almonds. My favorite is the Fage 0% blueberry or strawberry. It's sweet, crunchy, and protein-y all at once.

    For me:

EAS Carb Control protein drinks (chocolate fudge flavor) -- 110 cals and they are pretty filling.
    Chobani fat-free greek yogurt
A few slices of deli turkey

With one of my pregnancies I had gestational diabetes and had to have a protein-based snack every night before bed... I always went for peanut butter on whole grain toast. A serious dose of protein and quite filling.
