Hey Everyone,

I was wondering if there was a C25K, or a similar app to help me become a runner that will work with a blackberry??

It would be so helpful, and I really could use the motivation and assistance..

Thank you =)

Have you got a MP3 player on your blackberry? On the C25k website there are a heap of free podcasts that you can download. I used the ones by DJ Beatsmith and they were quite good.

There is a C25K app. There is a free version and one that you have to pay. I've only tried the free version, but the disadvantage of that is that whenever a call/text comes in while the program is running, it restarts the time and that gets frustrating. What I do now is time myself because I didn't want to pay for an app. Knowing myself, I would delete it later so I didn't want to purchase.

I didn't bother with the app - I create my own playlists for my MP3 player - when the song switches, I know it's time to switch to the next move (jogging or walking). So right now, I've got 1 minute songs and 1.5 minute songs as I'm still working on week 1. I'm off to week 2 starting tomorrow though!

I'm in the same boat. I tried the C25K Lite app but it stops everytime my phone sleeps. So I just ended up using the stopwatch timer on my phone. I might try one of the podcasts.

Thank you guys for the advice!! I'll look on the C25K site for the podcasts, and keep in mind that I can use songs to track my time!
I've been trying to increase my cardio fitness by myself, and a month ago, I could only run like 5-8 mins outside before I got tired. Today, I ran 25 mins before I got tired =)
