Just stay on track and then when you get to the point that you are feeling and looking good, that is when you should think about that.

I have this stupid fear, of not being fat. Is that weird?
It's more like....what if I'm still not happy.

I was reading...somewhere...that someone....anyway, they think that binge-ing might be caused by fear of success.

    Same thing?

Hush, you need to get page 15 too!

And yes, probably the same thing. Although I binge when I can't handle whatever emotion I'm feeling. But, yea that makes sense.

In the weight loss game, it seems like we know that we are overweight. The majority of my life has been like that. In the early 90s, I went to Nutrisystem...when I got down to my weight loss goal, I would put all my keys in my pocket and sometimes some other things so that they wouldn't know that I had lost more. I look at some of my pictures from that time and I do not look good. But the mirror didn't show me that image, and I wanted to keep losing.

Every time I look in the mirror all I see is fat rolls and gross thighs.

And then I go clothes shopping and pick up a bunch of 13s (my starting size) and realize that's not going to work.

I cringe when I pick up 7s. Then they fit. And I feel like something must be wrong.

    Yes. I don't have a mirror that I can trust...LOL
What is worse than the mirror is the camera in my laptop...the pictures there make me look like someone 30 years older and no definition to anything. I have to get my neighbor to take my picture so that I can have a before and after.

That's right hush7hush. You have done a great job and you need to realize that.
I think that our bodies lose the weight and our minds cannot accept that at the same time.

And, if you continue to use this site and plan your meals with it, then you will be able to maintain...and then you won't even think of your old body image.

I think you've got something there. Until your mindset is changed you struggle to lose. I wonder if there's another 'this is me, now' period you have to go through before you finally accept your changed self.
