How much should a person have in a day?

The recommended amount of sodium is anything between 1500 mg and 2300 mg per day, but ideally you should try to eat less than the 2300mg.0

Sorry, just came across this: The body requires only 500 milligrams of sodium each day.
Apparently, it's impossible to stick to the above as nearly everything has salt in it so the above post (up to 2300mg) is the maximum amount you should have.0 -

Just bear in mind that table salt is Sodium Chloride. Not just sodium. 1Gram of Table salt = .5 gram of sodium.0
